AuthFI compared with Auth0, Okta and Microsoft Entra
An alternative to Auth0 and Okta, priced in the open.
What an AuthFI plan includes, set beside the list prices Auth0, Okta and Microsoft Entra publish for the same things. Every figure links to its source, and where another provider costs less, the page says so.
The same things, at other providers' list prices
AuthFI Team is one price a month. Here is each thing it includes, and what the others list for it.
AuthFI pricing in fullWhere Auth0 is ahead
A free plan for up to 25,000 monthly users, without multi-factor authentication or roles. Its Enterprise plan carries a 99.99% service-level agreement. AuthFI has no free plan; early-stage companies can apply to the startup program.
Where Okta is ahead
A Starter suite at $6 a user a month for single sign-on and multi-factor authentication alone, which is less than AuthFI Team for a company that needs only that. Its larger suites add workflows and identity governance.
Where Microsoft Entra is ahead
External ID is free for the first 50,000 monthly users, and Entra ID Free comes with a Microsoft cloud subscription. For a company already on Microsoft 365, staff sign-in may cost nothing more.
List prices in US dollars, read from each provider's own pricing page on 11 October 2026: Auth0 pricing, Okta pricing, Microsoft Entra pricing. AuthFI and Auth0 prices are per month; Auth0 bills a year at 11 months' price, and Okta and Microsoft bill yearly, Okta with a minimum of $1,500 a year. Prices change, discounts are common, and no two products match feature for feature, so treat this as a starting point and check the pages. “Not listed” means the provider's pricing page shows no price for it. The names are trademarks of their owners.
What a price list does not show
Four things that differ in kind, whichever provider turns out cheaper for you.
One identity provider, not three products
Customer sign-in, workforce single sign-on, device sign-in and AI agent identity share one console, one set of groups and one audit record. With Okta, customer identity is a separate product, Auth0, with its own plan and its own bill.
AI agents are identities, not an add-on
Every AI agent has its own key, permissions with limits, a named owner and an off switch, and an MCP gateway checks each tool call. This is in every AuthFI plan.
Enforced on the machine, not only at sign-in
Zero-Code enforces what each service and each AI agent may reach with eBPF in the Linux kernel of your own nodes, with no change to your applications.
Your brand and your domain on every plan
Hosted sign-in and sign-up, the workspace portal, white-labelling and a custom domain are included from Team upwards, and are never metered.
When another provider is the better choice
If you need only single sign-on for a small team, Okta's Starter suite costs less. If you need customer sign-in with no multi-factor authentication or roles, Auth0's free plan may be enough. If your company already runs on Microsoft 365, Entra ID may already be paid for. AuthFI is built for a company that needs customers, staff and AI agents governed in one place.
